About the Author
Eric Thompson is an English teacher, teacher trainer, and author who has been teaching English to learners of all ages and proficiency levels in Japan since 1998. With a deep passion for education and communication, he has dedicated his career to helping learners develop the English skills and confidence they need to connect with people and opportunities around the world.
Fluent in Japanese, Eric has worked with a wide range of educational institutions and learners throughout his career. In 2008, he established his own English language school, fulfilling one of his long-standing dreams: to contribute to a movement that provides Japanese and English learners with the practical language tools they need to communicate confidently in an increasingly connected world.
The English Connect 365+ series is a product of Eric's more than 30 years of teaching experience, educational practice, and passion for helping people learn. The series offers practical and engaging resources designed to support English learners, teachers, families, and lifelong learners in developing vocabulary, conversation skills, communication confidence, and a deeper understanding of English.
Beyond language education, Eric is also an author whose work explores broader themes of human development, identity, family, history, society, and the challenges and possibilities facing humanity.
